Over the course of making this film, we met so many families faced with making difficult decisions and sacrifices in order to afford their medical cannabis oil. Some have been forced to take a lesser dose in an attempt to make their oil last longer, others stopped altogether because the burden of cost was too great.

Because cannabis remains federally illegal and insurance companies are unable to cover the cost, the Chasing Hope filmmakers are raising money to help financially insecure patients afford their prescribed CBD oil.
